I don't think my DSLR would have done any better on this one. I'm not saying it's perfect, mind, but it reminds me of a lot of the things I love about Melbourne and will miss when I go back to London, namely the sea and clear blue skies! Click through and view at full size to see the birds and the masts.
Think my sensor just about survived the insult of being pointed directly at the sun..

It's a wonderful scene and a great reflection.
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing when you go to full size!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photograph. Goodness what a fantastic part of the world we live in!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful sight!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't leave there if I were you. Do you have to?
No, not an iphone....but some sort of smartphone android thing. Not sure how it quite works. I like the good old push-a-button-and-no-extra-gadget phones!
Great image whatever camera you used
ReplyDeleteThis is the place I'd like to be right now!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot! Perfection? Who cares when we have this amazing view?
Looks like a fab day! Great shot.
ReplyDeleteawesome shot Alan!
ReplyDeletesooo good when enlarged, Alan. That teeth-like array of masts is a joy.
ReplyDeleteFantastic shot Alan! Love the way the sunlight bounces across the frame. Superbe!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding. In response to your question, no, it's just a house. Catholicism is big here in Santa Fe and you will see touches like this in homes and artifacts.
ReplyDeleteMAGNIFICENT !!!
ReplyDeleteHave a super weekend.
Thanks all for your very generous comments. Dawn, yes, I'm afraid so. Can't live on no income forever:-)
