One of my favourite spots in Melbourne for photographic inspiration. There are quite a few images scattered through this blog that were captured in or around this building. If you ever come to Melbourne, make sure you walk the 1k or so from the CBD to see it. And bring your camera.

It's a beautiful building Alan, very Egyptian looking, I'd like to see your other pictures taken there but not sure what it's called for reference.
ReplyDeleteThanks Alan for the suggestion. I have not gone there at night to take a pic, so next time I'm over that way it will be on my agenda. Have a great week. . Rae
ReplyDeleteGreat symmetry of this wonderful building. Believe it or not we drove passed the Shrine last night and commented how wonderful it looked. I had the camera in the car and was itching to take a shot but the cold night air told me not too.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Really great image.
ReplyDeleteI know I've told you this before, but you're soo good in architecture shots!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture, great treatment! ;-)
Colossal construction. A beautiful monument. I would very much like to be photographed, but I'm a bit far. Night pictures with me always much appreciated. Peter.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments! Grace, I don' think I have a specific label for this, but if you type "shrine" in the search box at the top of the page, you'll find at least a few of my posts.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great building Alan. You captured it beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThanks Craig!
